This page is being developed to keep residents
and motorists informed about this 2009 project to resurface Genesee
Road in Genesee Township.
Current Status:The Genesee County Road Commission, in conjunction with Genesee Township and the Michigan Department of Transportation, is pleased to announce the rehabilitation of Genesee Road between the northern limits of the City of Burton and Carpenter Road.
Starting Friday, June 12, 2009 at 7:00am, this section of Genesee Road will be under construction. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
On May 20, 2009 a meeting was held at the Genesee Township Hall to inform the public of the of progress and plans.
Construction is expected to be completed on or before Friday, August 14, 2009.
